Hycrete MC 1000+ is designed to extend the life of the building. It helps by protecting both the concrete and the cement from the harsh environment. Hycrete MC 1000+ protects them in 2 ways-
1. It reduces the corrosion initiation and a propogation by forming a protective layer on the surface of the reinforcement steel. It also protects reinforcement in the cracked concrete.
2. It protects the concrete by keeping the water and corrosive agents out by reducing an absorption to an industry low compared to control concrete.
Hycrete MC 1000+ enhances structural durability by protecting the building’s architectural concrete design elements. It provides an effective, permanent and sturdy barrier against water and chloride ingress. It does not require a reapplication as well. When concrete is treated with Hycrete MC 1000+, it defeats all single action inhibitors and High Performance Concrete (HPC) mixes which also include fly ash, a silica fume, a slag and calcium nitrate.
